Ginsters has partnered with military charity ‘Help for Heroes’ to launch a new limited edition beef and horseradish pasty with 10p from every sale donated to the charity.

The Ginsters beef and horseradish pasty (rrp 1.99) is available to order via Ginsters Vans Sales until June 15 and was developed by Help for Heroes veterans, Brian and Dave, who worked with the Ginsters’ brand development chefs to create the new pasty, which contains a classic flavour combination of British roast beef and horseradish sauce. Every pack features the Help for Heroes branding and a 10p donation message.

Ginsters head of corporate communications Jo Hartop said: “Our Limited Edition Beef & Horseradish Pasty also provides a great opportunity for retailers to grow their sales. Shoppers will be able to enjoy a delicious product whilst also contributing to a great cause, so we’d like to encourage retailers to stock the new product and help us raise money for Help for Heroes.”

Help for Heroes head of brand partnerships Marcus O’Shea said: “Ginsters is a key supporter of Help for Heroes and we’re very excited about this new project in this second year of our partnership. It was great fun visiting the Ginsters team and working with them to develop the Limited Edition Beef & Horseradish Pasty – Brian and Dave specifically chose flavours which reminded them of home and the favourite foods they missed while serving overseas. We hope everyone enjoys the new delicious addition to the Ginsters range.”
