Ginsters is launching a new on-pack ‘Match Day Hero’ promotion which will see football fans win £10,000.
Running from February 15 to May 8, the promotion is set to help retailers grow sales and drive engagement.
The competition will feature on up to 20 million packs across all core savoury lines, including slices, pasties and sausage rolls.
Entrants will be required to nominate themselves or their friends for the ultimate ‘Match Day Hero’ accolade by uploading a funny picture or video onto www.matchdayhero.co.uk, to demonstrate why they should be considered the best football fan.
Ginsters sales and marketing director Linda Evans said; “The promotion is an exciting extension of our ongoing sponsorship with the Football League Tonight show, and a great way of celebrating our consumers’ love of the game.
“Stocking the core ‘Match Day Hero’ promotional range, which includes our best-selling Original Cornish Pasty, Peppered Steak Slice and Large Sausage Roll will provide retailers with a great opportunity to boost sales”.
As part of the ‘Match Day Hero’ competition, every week for 12 weeks, Ginsters will also be giving away a full ‘footie front room’ prize package, which includes a Ginsters mini-fridge, 55” TV and a sofa to sit down and watch the match. 30,000 Ginsters sausage rolls will also be on offer on an instant win basis.
