Ginsters is revamping its slices range and adding more meat into its best-selling Chicken & Mushroom and Peppered Steak variants.
Available to retailers from April 16, fans of the Chicken & Mushroom and Peppered Steak Slices will be able to enjoy more meat and filling in their favourite products, which will now include an “Even Tastier” flash on pack.
In addition, Ginsters Spicy Chicken Slice will see a twist to its original recipe, with a “New Tikka Style Recipe” and the Pulled Pork Slice will become part of the standard Ginsters slices range after its success as a Limited Edition product.
Ginsters head of brand Mike Smith said: “Ginsters is extremely proud of its heritage and the quality of its products. With this in mind, we have revamped our best-selling slices to include even more meat – providing our consumers with a tastier snack which still boasts the same flavour combinations they have grown to love.
“In recent research with our consumers, we were told us how much they love the new slices, made with the best of British ingredients. In addition, for retailers, the “Even Tastier” flash on-pack will really stand out on shelves and help drive footfall to the savoury pastry shelves.”
From May 9, following consumer research which confirmed the popularity of our number one selling line, Ginsters’ Original Cornish Pasty will also earn “The Nation’s Favourite” flash on pack.
Ginsters’ new launches will benefit from point of sale (POS) support in-store and above the line TV advertising. The products will be available from the following dates:
- Chicken & Mushroom, Peppered Steak Slice and Spicy Chicken Slice (RRP £1.99) – April 16
- Pulled Pork Slice (RRP £1.99) – April 20
- Original Cornish Pasty (RRP £1.99) – May 9
