Following success of the Tiger Crust range, one of the fastest growing thin and crispy sub brands in the UK, Chicago Town has added two pizzas to the pricemarked packs (PMPs) category.
Chicago Town Tiger Crust Cheese Medley and Chicago Town Tiger Crust Double Pepperoni will be pricemarked at £3 or two for £5 to drive volume for store owners,
The Chicago Town Tiger Crust Cheese Medley features Emmental, Cheddar, grated mozzarella and red Cheddar and the Chicago Town Tiger Crust Double Pepperoni boasts slices of large pepperoni, mini pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Both pizzas are available nationwide in Costcutter, Eden Farm, Batley Bestway Group, Musgraves, AF Blakemore (SPAR), James Hall, CJ Lang, Hunts, Consort, Direct Wholesale Foods & NPP Wholesale stores.
PMPs play a key role when it comes to frozen pizza, with the total PMP frozen pizza market valued at £20.8m (IRI - Grocery Outlets 52we 27th Feb ‘21). Chicago Town is the biggest brand in the PMP frozen pizza market, with a total value of £14.6m and growing +14% YoY (ibid).
