Bottlegreen, the SHS Drinks brand, is expanding its portfolio of premium sparkling presses cordials and mixers with the spring launch of bottlegreen Sparkling Infusions. 

Sparkling infusions is a trio of pure, sparkling waters infused with natural fruits and botanicals, with less than 50 calories, lower sugar and no sweeteners. 

Aimed at the grab-and-go, out-of-home ‘instant consumption’ occasion, an opportunity currently worth £619m according to data from Nielsen, Sparkling Infusions are available in three on-trend flavours: refreshing coconut, raspberry and pomegranate and delicate elderflower. 

Available now in slimline 250ml cans with a premium foil lid (RRP £1.49), the range has been developed to fill a gap in the ‘instant consumption’ soft drinks market and meet the increasing consumer demand for premium soft drinks that are lower in sugar, hydrating and enjoyable to drink in flavours that appeal to the adult palate.

Jo Sykes, marketing director at SHS Drinks, said: “What consumers have told us they want is a soft drink that is light and which tastes natural and great, and doesn’t have the hit of sugar. With more people opting for healthier snacks and lighter options at lunchtime salads are growing at nearly four times the rate of sandwiches they don’t want to wash down their healthy food choice with a sweet, sugary tasting drink. 

“It’s this consumer dilemma which led us to develop the bottlegreen Sparkling Infusions range which delivers the healthy reassurance of having pure, gently sparkling water as a base; being light and naturally low in sugar; offering a choice of great, natural tasting, adult-focused flavours inspired by health trends.” 

Bottlegreen Sparkling Infusions is backed by a support package which focuses on driving awareness and trial. An extensive sampling campaign at high-footfall events across the summer, promotional activity, POS materials and a digital media campaign is planned to drive awareness of the launch.
