TLM Technologies will launch its next-generation epos solution, evoPOS, at the National Convenience Show at Birmingham NEC (16-18 April).

In development for 18 months in collaboration with retailers, the technology can be seamlessly integrated into retail outlets due to its compatibility with the most commonly used solutions, such as Oracle, whose software is no longer being developed for the sector.

The technology has a smartphone app, self-scan, mobile pay, and a promotions engine that guarantees the customer always gets the best deal in their basket while avoiding costly double discounting. Retailers also have access to the technology on a pay monthly basis.

Showcased for the first time at the NCS, visiting retailers will be able to watch a series of demonstrations on the TLM stand. Signing up on the spot will give retailers the advantage of a 10% early bird discount, meaning they can start using evoPOS from £999.

Lee Papper, chief executive at TLM Technologies said: “evoPOS has been created on modern open standards, which ensures that we can develop the software quickly and enable retailers to seamlessly connect with a host of best-in-class third party apps and services including loyalty, social marketing and customer feedback, unlike existing systems.

“I believe that what we have created not only measures up to what the market needs but is completely changing the game on what retailers can expect from the technology solutions powering their business and we are excited to unveil our achievements at National Convenience Show.”

The National Convenience Show is co-located with four other events – The Ingredients Show, Foodex, the Farm Shop & Deli Show and Food & Drink Expo. Almost 1,500 suppliers will converge at the NEC from across the whole food and drink supply chain, offering outstanding networking and product identifying opportunities.
