A F Blakemore is celebrating the opening of a new store in Swansea.
Mandeep Sohal, owner of Spar TownHill has joined AF Blakemore’s BTP+ proposition
Launched at SRS25: Better Together in Telford, Blakemore Trade Partners Plus offers retailers no delivery fees, no surcharges, and the opportunity to earn up to 8% rebate, alongside full development support including store layout, planograms, POS, EPOS and operational guidance.
The store has reported an immediate uplift in customer spend, including a £140 transaction in its first week - a level of spend Mandeep Sohal said “simply wouldn’t have happened before” attributing some of the growth to the improved chilled and fresh offer.
On the new store, Mandeep Sohal, said: “Joining Spar has been a fantastic move for our business. Customers are spending more time in store and exploring the wider range. The increased fresh and frozen offer was a big driver for us, and being able to achieve up to 8% rebate is a real bonus.
