Londis retailers are being promised even greater support following a restructure of its sales team.

Regional sales managers (RSMs) now operate in geographical regions and cover smaller patches, meaning more visits for retailers and a higher level of local knowledge. 

They have also been supplied with new tablet computers allowing them to give on-the-spot insight and recommendations on store standards, refits, range and offer.

Seven new business development controller roles have also been created to provide additional support to retailers.

“The service, offer and support we give to retailers who partner with Londis are paramount,” Londis sales director, Scott Wharton said. “When they told us they’d like to see RSMs more equipped to access their account information in-store, and with even greater knowledge of their area, we listened. That’s what this restructure is all about,” he added.
