This week saw the tenth opening - or reopening - of a Scottish Co-op store in recent weeks.
It follows stores in Brora, Fortrose, Callander, Irvine, Aberdeen (Kingswells), Evanton, Kingussie and Inverness re-opening following transformative investment, with a new store also opening in Selkirk
The purpose-built Gairloch store has created 20 local jobs, and opens between 7am-10pm daily. The launch is the tenth Scottish store to open, or re-open following transformative investment.
Located on the popular North Coast 500 route, the Gairloch sto-re includes customer car parking with electric vehicle charging and parking bays large enough for camper vans.
Daniel Simpson, Co-op area manager, said: “We’re delighted to invest in Gairloch – we’re proud to become part of local community life, we have had a great response. The store looks fantastic, and we have a focus on being a hub locally for the community and visitors to the area.”
