Co-op has launched its first new store of 2026, based in the new community neighbourhood of Willowbrook Park, Didcot.
Costa Coffee Express, bakery and hot food is available at the new store, alongside Co-op’s focus on fresh, healthy produce; meats and dairy; grocery, meal deals, everyday essentials and more.
The purpose-built brand store has created 11 local jobs, and opens between 6am-10pm daily.
The online home delivery of groceries is available through Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Co-op’s own online shop – shop.coop.co.uk. Throughout January, customers who spend more than £25 online via shop.coop.co.uk will get free delivery for their groceries - using code ‘FD2026’.
Amanda Fleming, Co-op area manager, said: “We’re delighted to invest in Didcot and proud to be the first new store Co-op launches in 2026. The store looks fantastic, and we have a focus on being a hub locally for the community - delivering the quality, choice, value and added services which can be enjoyed by everyone.”
