Great Moor Co-op re-launched this month following a huge nine-month programme of works and improvements worth £2.3m.
The old store has been knocked down and rebuilt, with new works resulting in it becoming more energy efficient to operate.
Located on Buxton Road, Stockport, the new, near 4,600 sq.ft. store supports 12 local jobs, and includes a Costa Coffee express, with an enhanced focus on fresh and healthy produce.
Additional services include a customer car park, including a number of EV charging points. The store opens between 7am-10pm daily.
Paul Griffin, Great Moor Co-op’s operations manager, said: “The whole team is delighted to invest in Great Moor and the store looks fantastic.
“We really look forward to welcoming our members and customers into their new Co-op. We’re here to contribute to local life and serve and support the community.”
