In addition to the Marc de Champagne Magnum, which was launched earlier this year, Unilever is also bringing back limited edition Magnum Gold and Magnum Pistachio to celebrate the brand’s 25 year anniversary.
All three flavours are packaged to mark the 25th birthday of Magnum with flashes of silver and the slogan ‘Celebrating 25 years of pleasure’. A pack of three retails at £2.99.
Nicola Rolfe, brand manager for Magnum at Unilever UK, said: “The relaunch of two classic Magnum flavours; Magnum Gold and Magnum Pistachio, will capture the interest of loyal Magnum fans while the new packaging, specially designed to highlight our 25th birthday, will attract shoppers to freezer cabinets and encourage them to trade up into the Premium sector.
“Magnum is the UK’s number one Ice Cream brand, generating an outstanding £139m in value sales in the last 12 months. Our aim is to build on the brands phenomenal performance in 2013 to make Magnum’s 25th year bigger, better and more indulgent than ever.”
The entire Magnum range has been revamped and refreshed with a luxurious new look for 2014. Magnum Gold is available in cases of six and both Magnum Pistachio and Marc de Champagne come in cases of ten.
