Spar expands wine range to include bag in a box options

Spar is to add four new wines to its range, including two in the bag in a box format.

Launching in participating Spar stores on 29 April Crisp White and Fresh Rosé in new 2.25litre bag in box format. The two SKUs will be priced at£14.99 and supported with instore POS and digital communication.

Brand manager from Spar UK Adam Georgiou said: “The bag in box wine category has experienced double digit growth over the last year with this trend set to continue into summer 2021. Our two new bag in a box SKUs are a product extension of our already popular Crisp White and Fresh Rosé wines and in keeping with the familiar designs, customers can easily recognise them.”

It is also launching SPAR Picpoul de Pinet in a 75cl bottle (£7.99 RSP but on promotion at £6.99 from 20 May 9 June 2021) and Spar Seashell Bay Sauvignon Blanc in a 75cl bottle (£6.99 RSP, on promotion at £5.99 from 20 May 9 June 2021).
