Functional soft drinks brand Skip has announced it is to launch a new range of two new magnesium drinks in its range this week.
The two new flavours follow the successful national roll-out of Skip’s Peach & Ginger, Elderflower & Mint and Lemon & Basil cold-pressed CBD drinks last July, followed by two Lion’s Mane flavours this January.
The Skip Magnesium range comes in two lightly sparkling fruit flavours - Berry & Cherry and Kiwi & Lime, both with an RRP of £1.99.
Each 250ml can contains 188mg of magnesium as well as vitamins B6 and D (50% of RI). Vitamin B6 contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, vitamin D helps to maintain strong bones and teeth, while magnesium’s benefits include improved sleep quality, relief from anxiety and stress and boosted energy production, Skip advised.
Skip co-founder, Adam Pritchard, said: “Health conscious consumers are increasingly looking for drinks that offer benefits beyond hydration.
“We’re really excited to launch our new Skip Magnesium range. We believe our sparkling magnesium and vitamin-enriched drinks will resonate particularly well with Gen Z who are drinking less alcohol, care about ingredients and want function with convenience.
“These are high quality, tasty and refreshing drinks that can fit into multiple daily routines from a post-workout recovery drink to an alcohol alternative, and at a very affordable price.”
Skip Magnesium is available initially online at skipdrinks.com and the brand’s Instagram Shop. It will also be available from August on Amazon and via wholesaler HT Drinks, with the brand targeting further listings in retail, convenience, grocery and wholesale.
