SkinnyBrands Ltd is launching a range of ready-to-drink Skinny Cocktails to the market. Offering a full flavour, full strength drink, with a reduced sugar content, the cocktails are only 90 calories, almost half the calories of regular canned cocktails.

SkinnyBrands Mojito, Cosmo and Margarita (rrp £2 per 250ml can) are vegan friendly and gluten free.

The launch will be accompanied by a PR and social media campaign, which will run throughout 2017.

Tom Bell, SkinnyBrands’ director and co-founder, said: “During the product launch research, a gap in the market emerged allowing for a high alcohol content drink to meet the demands of health-concious consumsers. Limiting sugar has become the UK’s number one health concern, however other ‘light’ alcoholic drinks have left a lot to be desired when it comes to the taste, quality and price.

“Skinny Cocktails have been developed to reduce sugar, carbs and calories without impacting on the flavour or alcohol content. I am excited to see how the product impacts drinking habits in the wider market.”
