Kellogg’s has upsized three of its best-selling brands to entice shoppers looking for better value for money.

Mega packs are available in Corn Flakes (1.2kg), Rice Krispies (1.1kg), and Coco Pops (1.1kg). This cereal is packaged in two bags to maintain freshness.

Kellogg’s Rice Krispies ‘mega’ packs, for example, are 18 per cent better value than 710g packs, meaning shoppers get 5 more bowls for their money.

The size increase follows consumer insight which revealed 77 per cent of Kellogg’s shoppers would prefer bigger packs because they are better value for money.

The front-of-pack displays Kellogg’s bowl icons, indicating the number of bowls shoppers can expect per pack.

The cereal giant has also launched a 600g pack in its consumer favoured Crunchy Nut Hazelnut and Chocolate Granola.

A larger 850g Krave Chocolate Hazelnut and Milk Chocolate packs (850g each) are also available.

Michaela Mayoh, Kellogg’s brand manager, said: “We’ve listened to our shoppers and know from consumer insight that there is a growing demand for larger packs. Krave shoppers, for example, buy on average two at a time, so it made perfect sense to give them the option of purchasing a single significantly larger box. Stocking these products means you drive sales and still appeal to value-for-money.”
