Heck! is expanding its popular high-protein chicken range with the launch of its first Cumberland Chicken Sausages, rolling into stores from mid-September.
The new six-pack 340g SKU carries an RRP of £3.50 and puts a “lighter spin” on the traditional Cumberland sausage, combining lean chicken with black pepper, sage and warming spices.
High in protein, gluten-free and naturally lower in fat than traditional pork sausages, the launch is designed to “appeal to the growing number of shoppers looking for lighter, protein-rich alternatives without compromising on flavour,” Heck! said.
Co-founder, Jamie Keeble, added: “Cumberland is a UK household staple and one of Britain’s most popular sausage varieties, so it was an obvious choice for our latest chicken launch.
“We’ve kept all the peppery, herby character shoppers expect, while offering a lighter, high-protein alternative for easy everyday meals.”
