Gnaw says it is addressing fears from English Heritage that classic English puddings are being forgotten, by releasing two new pud-themed bars in time for Christmas.
Joining its range are the new Cherry & Almond Tart and Spiced Apple Strudel packs. According to the English Heritage report, although classic treats like crumbles, pies and steam puddings remain popular, they often find themselves gazumped by cold desserts and healthier options.
Last year Gnaw introduced a New York Cheesecake milk chocolate bar to accompany its high-flying Banoffee Pie, Sticky Toffee Pud and Gingerbread chocolate offerings, and the new bars will join this portfolio.
Gnaw spokesperson, Josh Patterson, said: “We loved the thought of portable, pocket-sized pud-themed bars that could be shared with friends or family or saved for some all-important me-time.”
