Fuel10k is introducing a range of on-the-go breakfast yoghurt drinks, Mini Yogs.

Protein rich and fibre boosted with no artificial flavours or colours, Mini Yogs are super yoghurt drinks that are school compliant and aimed at a new younger audience. The 200ml innovative cartons in fully recyclable packaging don’t need refrigerating and are ideal for breakfast, lunchboxes or a healthy school-run snack.

The Breakfast Drinks market is worth £24m in the UK and Fuel10k already holds second place behind Weetabix (IRI Market Place, Oct ’17).

Barney Mauleverer, co-founder of Fuel10k, said: “Breakfast Drinks is a significant category that’s experiencing considerable growth due to its appeal to younger adults.

“Consumer habits are changing, and traditional brands have been slow to meet the needs of the younger millennial and Gen X consumer. The result is an exodus from the traditional boxed cereals to alternative more convenient sources. We want to attract younger 7 to 16-year old consumers - the ones moving from Disney to Marvel comics - into supermarkets and introduce them to the Fuel brand.

“We’ve created our products for the health conscious who want less sugar and more protein but don’t want to compromise on taste. Mini Yogs will be a major addition to the range delivering a thick fruity yoghurt drink that will fill you up and keep you going.”

Made with 100 per cent natural fruit and milk, Mini Yogs will be available in packs of three 200ml cartons in strawberry or peach flavours from late January 2018 (rrp £2.69).
