Doritos is offering shoppers a one in five chance to win cash prizes with a new on pack promotion.

The brand’s latest bold campaign, which will run until August 1, requires consumers to take part in a penalty shootout competition online.

Every Doritos promotional pack, across singles and sharing, will include a unique code. Shoppers will need to visit and enter their exclusive code to take on the Doritos ‘Stick or Kick’ challenge online.

Each goal scored results in a prize and players can choose to either ‘stick’ to keep their prize, or if they are feeling bold, put it at risk by choosing to ‘kick’ and take another penalty.

If the player successfully scores the next penalty they win a bigger prize but if they lose they will go away empty handed. Prizes include a pack of Doritos and cash prizes from £10 up to £500, with shoppers having a 1 in 5 chance of winning at each stage, even for the £500 top prize.

Doritos senior brand manager Andy Hawkswell said: “We’re delighted to be launching our latest on pack promotion which is designed for our bold shoppers, and we are aiming to help boost sales for retailers and the snacking segment with this new campaign. Doritos is the ideal snack for summer parties and major sporting events and we are confident that this new promotion will add some fun and excitement into the category.”

The new on pack initiative will be supported with a strong marketing campaign including digital, TV advertising and in-store activation.
