Certain individual cans and multipacks are affected by the latest FSA recall.

In a new update from the Food Standards Agency (FSA), the Dalston Soda Company is recalling its Dalston’s Pineapple Soda drink because of a risk the cans may unexpectedly break apart and leave sharp edges, which may cause injury.

The products affected are the single 330ml cans with a batch number of 037130, best before date 4/8/27, and also the four-can multipacks with the same date and a batch code of 037129.

Dalston’s Soda Company is therefore recalling the above product. POS notices will be displayed in all retail stores selling this product, explaining to customers why the product is being recalled and what to do if they have bought the product.

The notice can be viewed and downloaded here.

Anyone who has purchased an affected product is urged not to open it, and also not to return it to the store it was purchased from. Instead, they should avoid any unnecessary handling of the product and safely dispose of it in an external waste bin.

Dalston’s Soda Company are offering a full refund. Simply email recall@dalstons.com or phone 07495 169638.
