Ben & Jerry’s is launching three new flavours this winter, to help support the company’s Together for Refugees campaign and One Love Youth Camp.

The company’s new Home Sweet Honeycomb flavour will feature the message ‘It’s time to come together for vulnerable refugees’ and is designed to raise awareness of the ongoing refugee crisis.

The new flavour combines sweet cream ice cream with a honey caramel swirl and chocolatey honeycomb chunks. Packs will also feature a refugees welcome sign on front of pack, as part of Ben & Jerry’s ongoing campaign.

The company has also teamed up with the International Rescue Committee to encourage as many people as possible to contact European leaders and ask them to support historic legislation that could help some of the world’s most vulnerable refugees.

Christina Dunn, marketing manager for Ben & Jerry’s UK & Ireland, said: “At Ben & Jerry’s we’ve always stood up for issues that matter to us, and over the years have championed many causes from marriage equality to climate justice. We’ve teamed up with the International Rescue Committee to say we are together for refugees, and we’re urging concerned citizens and ice cream lovers everywhere to join us in helping to give vulnerable refugees a safe place to call home.”

Ben & Jerry’s is also launching two previously launched limited edition winter variants, Minter Wonderland and One Love. The flavours will once again return to the freezer aisle this season.

Minter Wonderland features chocolatey chunks surrounded by mint flavour ice cream, whilst One Love combines banana ice cream with caramel, cookie swirls and chocolate peace signs.

Proceeds from the sale of the One Love variant will go towards the One Love Youth Camp in Jamaica, which supports young people in music, dance, and the arts.

Dunn added: “We like to bring excitement to the freezer aisle in the autumn-winter season and with 70% of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream consumed on the sofa while watching TV [H&A Data for UK & USA], an occasion that increases in winter months, we hope our latest Fairtrade line-up will warm the hearts of our fans.”

Ben & Jerry’s Home Sweet Honeycomb, Minter Wonderland and One Love are available to convenience stores now, as part of the 500ml Classic range (rrp £5.49).
