Retailer hails impact of new Slush Puppie machine
Middlesbrough retailer Bay Bashir has hailed the impact of a Slush Puppie Tango Ice Blast machine in one of his stores.
Earlier this year Bay introduced a Tango Ice Blast machine in his Lifestyle Express store in Billingham, and sales have taken off.
“In a four-week period it took £6,200, with a 200% margin – and that was while it was snowing. Imagine what it will be like in the summer!
“We’re located near a school and people go crazy for the product – which is £2.75 for a small and £3.75 for a large drink. It’s a big craze here – you see them in cinemas.”
He is about to introduce the gas-powered machines in his two other stores in Middlesbrough.

I think it would be hard to get away with charging those prices in London so I'm amazed people are paying that for a Slush Puppie in the North East of England.
Perhaps in future, parents will start avoiding Bay's shop to avoid their kids nagging them for an expensive Slush Puppie.
Loyalty works both ways.

If that's the actual set up in the shop then the free standing gas cylinders are an accident waiting to happen also if the gas is Co2 I believe that there should be Co2 monitors installed as per the confined gases regs.
