InPost has reported a “record-breaking” quarter for its UK operations, with parcel volumes tripling year-on-year (YoY).

In its Q3 results, the number of parcels processed in the UK reached 80.2m while domestic revenue grew by 307% YoY.

The InPost UK network now includes over 17,000 out-of-home (OOH) points, with more than 12,000 Automated Parcel Machines (APMs), with more than 50% of the UK population having access to an InPost OOH point, and three-quarters of residents in the top three cities are within a seven-minute walk of a locker.

UK operations helped drive overall group growth, with parcel volumes up 34% YoY to 351.5m, and revenue up 49%.

The acquisitions of Menzies and Yodel was cited as a reason behind the UK success.

Commenting on the results, founder and CEO of InPost Group, Rafał Brzoska, said:

“Thanks to strategic acquisitions, especially in the UK, our revenues have reached a record high, strengthening our market leadership. Despite significant investments in network expansion, we maintained solid margins and strong cash generation.

“As we approach the peak season, we are fully committed to deliver the best-in-class quality for our users and merchants. This will enable us to shift e-commerce deliveries to OOH and strengthen the adoption of APM delivery as a new habit across our markets.”
