One Stop and InPost are celebrating the installation of the 200th out-of-home (OOH) parcel locker since their partnership began in 2023.
According to recent InPost’s research, 64% of locker users visit a location more often because of the locker and 78% make a purchase while they’re there, while 79% would shop elsewhere if lockers were removed, turning everyday parcel drop-offs and collections into footfall, repeat visits and lasting loyalty for convenience retailers like One Stop.
One Stop’s first InPost Locker was installed at a store in Derbyshire in 2023 and the network has grown steadily ever since to reach 200 locations nationwide. The latest is located at the Lower Farnham Road One Stop store in Aldershot.
Nigel Prendergast, head of customer and business support at One Stop, said: “From our first locker to our 200th, this milestone reflects how important it is to expand our delivery solutions - ensuring we’re making parcel drop-off and collection accessible for everyone.
“It’s been fantastic to work with InPost, a trusted and reliable supplier who are committed to supplying cost-effective and sustainable delivery solutions for busy shoppers.”
Paul Selvey, network director at InPost UK, added: “Reaching 200 lockers with One Stop comes down to one thing - that people are choosing to use them. Putting lockers in the convenience stores at the heart of local communities means collecting or sending a parcel fits around everyday life, rather than the other way round. It’s why demand has grown the way it has since 2023 and why we’ll keep expanding across the One Stop estate in the year ahead.”
