Parcel delivery group Evri has announced the launch of the first wave of its owned locker network in partnership with Tesco.
The rollout also includes 500 new locker locations at petrol stations across the UK after a major nationwide partnership with Motor Fuel Group (MFG), the UK’s largest independent forecourt operator.
Together, the new partnerships will expand Evri’s network and provide millions of customers with more convenient ways to send, receive and return parcels.
It follows the company’s announcement of a £50m investment to more than double its ParcelShop and locker estate by 2030.
Evri has partnered with smart-tech specialist Bloq.it on the development of these new lockers, commissioning at least 1,000 units, and unlike shared third-party lockers, these will be operated solely by the Yorkshire-based delivery firm.
The latest rollout comes as consumer appetite for lockers continues to rise, with data from Evri revealing a 343% increase in usage since early 2025, alongside a 19% rise in parcel ‘diversions’ to lockers.
Liam Rogan (below left), head of ParcelShop and Locker Network at Evri, said: “By partnering with Tesco and MFG we’re reinforcing our commitment to a choice of quality delivery methods.
“Customers value convenience when it comes to deliveries, so with Tesco and MFG forecourts at the heart of so many communities, there’ll be easy access…”
“Our data shows customers value convenience when it comes to deliveries, so with Tesco stores and MFG forecourts at the heart of so many communities, there’ll be easy access to Evri services alongside filling up or picking up essentials.

The Tesco stores trial will see the first wave of new Evri lockers installed at a small number of Tesco Extra and Superstore locations, building on their existing Clubcard partnership, which lets customers earn points on every parcel they send through Evri, with one point per £1 spent.
In addition, many of the MFG locations include on-site retail brands such as Morrisons Daily, Subway and Starbucks, giving customers the opportunity to send, collect and return parcels while going about their daily routines.
