The East of England Co-op has bolstered its senior leadership team by recruiting Liz Cobbold into the newly created role of chief customer, community and member officer.
Cobbold joined the regional co-operative this month, bringing a breadth of marketing and commercial experience, and has worked with brands such as Tesco and Adnams.
The East of England Co-op said it has grown its senior leadership team following year-on-year profit improvement. With experience in retail and digital marketing, Cobbold is set to bring customers and members on the East of England Co-op’s journey.
Cobbold said: “Some of my earliest memories are of shopping at my local co-op and collecting divi stamps. The values of the co-operative movement are very meaningful to me and I’m looking forward to refreshing how we communicate to members while remaining true to the values that the East of England Co-op was built on.”
