East of England Co-op has expanded its rapid grocery delivery offering through a new partnership with Uber Eats, powered by Snappy Technologies’ Order Aggregation (OA) platform.
The launch sees 33 East of England Co-op food stores become available on the Uber Eats platform, giving customers another convenient way to shop for groceries.
The OA platform allows retailers to “manage multiple online ordering channels through a single, streamlined solution,” the group said said.
The launch builds on East of England Co-op’s existing use of the platform, which already powers orders from Snappy Shopper marketplace and Foodhub.
By adding Uber Eats through the same integration, East of England Co-op can expand its online reach while continuing to manage all marketplace orders through a single operational workflow.
Simon Dryell, chief commercial officer at East of England Co-op, said: “This partnership helps us meet the changing needs of our communities, ensuring customers can access the products they need quickly and easily from their local East of England Co-op.”
Andy Batt, VP of Snappy Technologies, added: “Retailers want to offer customers as many ways to shop as possible but managing multiple marketplace integrations individually can quickly become operationally complex. Our OA platform removes that complexity by enabling retailers to connect with leading delivery platforms through a single integration while maintaining operational efficiency.”
