Best-one has announced it recruited 125 stores in the first four months of the year.
Bestway Wholesale’s symbol group has signed up retailers from all regions of the UK, with another 1,000 retailers signalling their interest to join.
Bestway Wholesale sales director Tony Holmes said: “The response we have had from retailers has been nothing short of sensational.
”The collapse of P&H (Palmer and Harvey) was obviously the catalyst but this year we have seen unprecedented interest in the group from many other symbols and unaffiliated retailer as they look to grow their businesses and take them to the next level.”
In February, Bestway announced that Best-one had recruited 60 Coscutter and Mace retailers, following the collapse of wholesaler P&H in November 2017.
Holmes said Bestway’s investment in chilled, fresh and own label products had helped the group to support retailers and develop their stores.
