Rainbow Baby Bank

Rainbow Baby Bank was just one of many local charities to benefit from One Stop shopper nominations.

One Stop marked its 50th anniversary at the end of 2025, and as part of the retailer’s celebrations, they awarded £500 grants to a selection of nominated local community groups, with these now receiving the funds.

The groups - who truly make a difference to many lives - were selected through a public nomination form on One Stop’s dedicated birthday online landing page. Those who voted had their chance to highlight why their chosen-nominated community group deserved recognition.

In total, One Stop received over 7,000nominations from the public, which reflects how highly the retailer’s customers want to help make a difference in their local communities.

Jack Taylor, community and partnerships manager at One Stop, said: “These groups are the heartbeat of their communities, and being able to give something back to them as part of our 50th anniversary has been truly special.”

The group said they will use the funding to invest in moses basket mattresses and bedding to help support families who are facing significant hardship.

Taylor added: “Our customers didn’t just nominate a group - they shared their experiences, expressed their gratitude and highlighted moments in which their nominated group has made a real difference to the people within their communities.”
