One Stops appeal for donations for Alzheimer’s Society has raised over £800k in total to date.

One Stop is once again supporting its charity partner, Alzheimer’s Society, with its annual Forget Me Not appeal.

The group’s customers will be able to pick up a Forget Me Not pin badge for £1 at their local One Stop store. Since 2019, One Stop has helped raise an incredible £800,000 for Alzheimer’s Society.

The appeal runs throughout June and encourages people to wear the badge as a symbol of solidarity for everyone affected by dementia. They can be worn in support of someone living with dementia, in memory of a loved one or as a sign of hope for a future without the devastation of dementia.

Forget Me Not

All proceeds go towards Alzheimer’s Society’s work to beat dementia, through vital support services, campaigning, and research.

Jack Taylor, community and partnerships manager at One Stop, said: “We’re incredibly proud to support the Forget Me Not appeal, which resonates with so many of our colleagues and customers.

“We see every day how deeply Alzheimer’s affects families in our local communities, and we believe it’s vital to play our part. By backing this appeal, we’re helping to support our charity partner fund essential research and support services while showing those affected that they have our understanding, compassion, and commitment.”

Customers can also purchase the Forget Me Not pin badges through online delivery apps such as Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats, meaning customers can contribute to an incredible cause from the comfort of their own home!

Lizzie Pearl, head of corporate partnerships at Alzheimer’s Society, added: “This campaign is an important moment in Alzheimer’s Society’s calendar, encouraging the public to wear a Forget Me Not badge and donate to show their support. We are so grateful to One Stop colleagues and customers for supporting this campaign and wearing their badges with pride.”
