The team has raised over £15k for this year’s event and Barista Bar was also proud sponsor for 2026.

A team of 20 cyclists from Northern Irish coffee to go offering, Barista Bar, have just crossed the finish line of the NIPANC Pedal the Periphery challenge, alongside a total of 300 cyclists.

The event saw riders cycling 480 miles around Northern Ireland in just 48 hours, raising vital funds for NIPANC, the Northern Ireland charity dedicated to improving outcomes for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

The fourth annual event took place this weekend (5-7 June) and saw riders cycling 480 miles around Northern Ireland in just 48 hours, raising vital funds.

Last year, the team raised £14.5k for the charity, and thanks to Barista Bar’s support and energy, has this year raised over £15,000 this year.

Barista Bar was also proud to return as an event sponsor, helping raise awareness of the challenge across its network of more than 600 digital screens located in Spar, Eurospar and VIVO stores.

Consumers were encouraged to support the cause by scanning QR codes displayed on-screen, allowing them to donate directly and helping to raise both awareness and vital funds.

Keavy O’Mahony-Truesdale, national brand and sales manager at Barista Bar, said: “We’re incredibly proud to support Pedal the Periphery for a second year, both through our cycling team and as one of the event sponsors.

“The support from our colleagues, retail partners, suppliers and customers has been fantastic, and we’re proud to play our part in supporting NIPANC’s important work.”
