Baista Bar invested €50k into the brand new trailer, the first of three to be unveiled across the UK.

Visitors to renowned Irish music festival, Fleadh, last Thursday (6 August) were treated to a surprise Irish dance flash mob organised by Barista Bar, as the brand celebrated the launch of its first ever mobile coffee trailer.

The Aisling School of Irish Dance stopped crowds in their tracks at the Craic & Craft Market with a lively performance that created a memorable moment for those who stopped to watch the 25 dancers.

The flash mob formed part of food to go brand Barista Bar’s week-long activation at the Fleadh, where the brand’s new mobile coffee trailer, affectionately named BABS (Brewing Amazing Brews & Smiles), served customers outside ICC Belfast, bringing Barista Bar’s award-winning coffee experience directly to one of Europe’s largest cultural celebrations.

The brand is widely available across more than 470 Spar, Eurospar and ViVO stores in Northern Ireland and over 670 locations in total across the UK, having celebrated its 10th anniversary last year.

The brand invested €50k into the trailer, the first of three to be unveiled across the UK in the near future. The coffee trailer units will provide Barista Bar with an exciting new way to bring the brand directly to consumers at events and activations across the UK.

The first 30 customers received a complimentary goody bag and the Barista Bar mascot made a number of special appearances, while local influencer Clara Deehan hosted games, giveaways and interactive challenges throughout the event.

Mark Stewart-Maunder, commercial and development director, said: “We were so thrilled to be debuting our first coffee trailer and doing it at the Fleadh in Belfast made it even more special.

“It was a brilliant week with our team meeting so many of our loyal customers and we had such a great time fuelling people’s day as they experienced the Fleadh in Belfast for the first time. We wish to thank The Aisling School of Irish Dance for their amazing performance which was thoroughly enjoyed by a great crowd and was definitely a highlight of the event for us.”
