Co-op has just launched its newest convenience store for the community of Barton-on-Sea.
Creating ten new local jobs, the near 2,000 sq.f. store, located in the landmark Westcliffe Buildings began welcoming members and customers of the community into the new store for the first time from Friday (25 July).
Shoppers can expect all of the usual benefits of a Co-op in their region, from soft plastic recycling to local produce and plenty of food to go lines.
Dave Collins, store manager, said of the launch day: “It’s been a great day, with lovely comments from customers who were all delighted with the store. There has been a lot of excitement locally as we’ve built towards launch day - and they loved their new store when they called in today to see it for the first time.”
