Yorkshire football fans can enjoy restaurant-quality food at takeaway prices while watching England and the world’s best teams compete this summer.
That’s thanks to Abu Bakr Supermarket, which has announced the launch of a special £15 deal, available at its Food 2 Go counters across all of its Yorkshire stores, giving supporters “an affordable and delicious way to enjoy the tournament,” it said.
The in-house café and gourmet takeaway concept, Abu Bakr Food 2 Go, is bringing together restaurant-quality flavours with the convenience of takeaway and dine-in options at supermarket cafés throughout Yorkshire.
Described as being designed for those gathering to watch England – whose tournament kicks off tonight (17 June) - and the biggest matches of the tournament, the £15 feast offers value while showcasing the freshly prepared food that’s become a favourite with customers.
The deal includes four samosas, two freshly baked pasties, a choice of Butter Chicken or Chicken Tikka Masala, a freshly made warm naan bread, two cans of cola or one large bottle of Irn-Bru, Rubicon Passion or Don Simon Orange Juice, and customers can also add a freshly prepared Karak Chai for just £1. Vegetarian offers are also available throughout the deal.
Abu Bakr MD, Hamza Hussain, said: “Football brings communities together, and we wanted to create an offer that allows customers to enjoy great food without spending restaurant prices.
“This World Cup deal gives families and friends everything they need for match day, whether they’re watching at home or dining at one of our cafes.”
