Spar UK and P&G have joined forces to clean up for ChildLine.

In a campaign running from 17 June to 28 July, P&G donated 48p from every case of Daz purchased by Spar wholesalers Appleby Westward, James Hall & Co, CJ Lang and Son, and AF Blakemore to ChildLine, raising a grand total of £5,421.

Spar UK grocery trading manager Gemma Pidgeley said: “This was an excellent opportunity for Spar wholesalers and retailers to make a difference by teaming up with a leading supplier. We would like to thank P&G for their generosity in supporting ChildLine in partnership with Spar.”

P&G retail channel controller Katey Bradshaw said the success of the partnership could lead to it being repeated. “We are delighted with the results of the partnership between Daz and Spar UK to support ChildLine. This was the first time P&G have supported ChildLine, and based on the success this is something that they will definitely consider repeating in the future.”
