Parfetts has responded to the requests of retailers and is bringing Yates’s Original Australian Wine to its depots once again.
The product - also known as ‘Aussie White’ - is already available at Aintree and Anfield depots, and other depots ranging from Birmingham to Middlesbrough plan to stock it shortly after.
Gurms Athwal, trading director at Parfetts, said: “We responded to a series of requests from retailers in Liverpool to source and stock the wine at our Aintree and Anfield depot and then decided to roll it out across our network. Initial interest has been huge, so we anticipate this will sell fast. It will be available to consumers through our Go Local, Go Local Extra and The Local fascia stores, plus other independent retailers who shop with us.”
The 70cl bottle has an RRP of £14.99, providing a retailer margin of 23.3%. A 1.5ltr option will also be available later in the month.
The muscat-style wine is enhanced with grape brandy for a very fruity taste and can be enjoyed by itself or as a mixer.
