Unilever UK has revamped its core range of Alberto Balsam shampoo and conditioners with a refreshed packaging and new formulation.
Alberto Balsam’s range of shampoo and conditioners (rrp £1.07) will contain nature inspired fragrances but with a new lower sulphate formula, designed to deliver gentler cleansing and appeal to young families.
The range will also receive a new look, with a new flat lid and bottle design enabling the products to be stood upside down, making the packaging more user-friendly when product is running low. The front of pack design has also been updated with an increased focus on the nature inspired fragrances Alberto Balsam is recognised for.
Alberto Balsam brand manager Hugo Rawlinson said: “Alberto Balsam is a well-established family brand that provides excellent haircare at an affordable price point. We are extremely excited to launch the new look and formula for the range and are confident that it will be popular with current brand fans as well as new consumers.’’
The re-launch will be supported by a £1.5m marketing spend and a Channel 4 TV sponsorship, which will run throughout the year.
