The fruity flavoured sweets with a spicy kick are set to appeal to consumers looking for a daring treat over the Halloween period. Building on previous years’ success in more limited distribution, the black Skittles Sweet Heat 196g sharing pouch has an rrp of £1.49.
Driven by both the core portfolio and on-trend NPD such as Skittles Giants earlier in 2020, Skittles is on track for a third year of growth as the fastest growing brand in the category, expanding at +9.2% [Nielsen – MAT P6 2020 – Total coverage]. With Skittles having the fastest growing shopper penetration at +7.7% MAT, Skittles Sweet Heat is set to excite both new and existing customers, whilst contributing to overall category growth.
