Boss! Win a Boot Load of Magnum KV

Magnum’s new competition puts independent retailers front and centre.

Magnum Tonic Wine is giving independent retailers the chance to win a boot load of stock with the launch of Boss! Win a Boot Load of Magnum’ a new competition designed to reward the retailers that back the brand during a peak time of year for festivals, carnivals and street parties.

Running until 3 September, the draw offers one lucky retailer a ‘boot load’ of Magnum Tonic Wine. To enter, retailers simply need to photograph Magnum displayed in-store and email the image to MagnumCompetition@Campari.com.

By rewarding stores proudly ranging and merchandising the brand, the initiative “celebrates the role independent retailers play in bringing Magnum to shoppers,” the brand said.

The competition builds on a summer of targeted activity spanning wholesale, convenience and consumer touchpoints, reinforcing Magnum’s continued support for the independent trade.

Earlier this summer, the brand’s customised Magnum Jeep toured more than 20 wholesale depots and independent retailers across the UK, giving retailers the chance to engage directly with the brand while bringing added theatre to stores through exclusive merchandise and giveaways.

The activity will continue later this month as Magnum heads to the Notting Hill Carnival - the iconic event’s 60th anniversary - as an official partner. Set to be one of the biggest carnivals yet, Magnum will take over the Powis Square Stage and reach thousands of consumers over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

For retailers, the partnership marks another meaningful investment behind the brand at a key trading moment, complementing activity already delivered through wholesale depots and independent stores across the country.

Marina Santos, consumer, channel and customer marketing director at supplier Campari Group, said: “Independent retailers have always been an important part of Magnum’s story. They’ve introduced the brand to new shoppers, kept it visible in local communities and helped make Magnum what it is today.

“That relationship isn’t something we ever take for granted, which is why we’ve spent the summer getting out and meeting retailers face to face, as well as investing in activity that keeps Magnum front of mind with shoppers.”
