It may be hard for consumers to believe, but Fibre One has come up with a doughnut high in fibre and low in calories.

Available in Chocolate and Strawberry & Cream flavour, the healthier treats from General Mills are being backed by a £1.5m marketing campaign, with bursts this Autumn and in Spring 2023.

They have an rrp of £2.89 per pack and have been described by marketing manager Adrienne Burke as “the perfect permissible alternative to one of the UK’s favourite treats”.
