Mezcal brand Rosaluna has landed in the UK.
Rosaluna 40% ABV (RRP:£39.95/70cl) is described as a “less smoky mezcal” and offers a “delicate hint of agave smoke, with a subtle layer of sweet fruit and baking spice”, said the brand.
The all-natural agave spirit is distilled by a sixth-generation family in Santiago Matatlán in Oaxaca, known as the heartland of Mexico’s mezcal-making.
The brand’s goal is to produce the “very best mezcal”, while respecting both the land and traditions to ensure a sustainable future.
It has built a strong reputation for its eco-friendly practices. These include using agave waste for its labels and incorporating 40% recycled glass bottles in its products.
Distributed by Spirit Cartel, Rosaluna is available from suppliers Amathus, Drinks Club, Dunns, Hammonds, Speciality Drinks and Venus.
“Rosaluna’s less smoky profile results in a mezcal with excellent mixability and versatility across a wide range of recipes.
