Country Choice has launched two new cheese twists to help retailers maximise sales in the hot pastry category.
The company’s new Cheddar Cheese Twist is made using croissant pastry and filled with tangy cheese. The second variety, Monterey Jack Cheese and Smoked Paprika Twist, is also made using croissant pastry and filled with American Monterey Jack and hot paprika.
Both products weigh 115g and are designed for on-the-go snacking. Retailers simply bake the twists for 18 to 20 minutes, cool, and then display for up to twelve hours on the bakery fixture or alongside other ambient savoury pastries.
The new Country Choice cheese twist range is available now. Cheddar Twists are sold in cases of 51 and Montery Jack Twists are sold in cases of 60 (rrp £1.19 each or two for £2).
