Country Choice is helping independent retailers create a “more authentic” feel to their in-store bakery offer with a new artisan bakery concept.
The offer is expected to come into its own at weekends, when shoppers tend to “indulge more - buying premium lines such as speciality breads or treating themselves to a leisurely breakfast of croissants,” Country Choice said.
The modular display equipment incorporates a section for sampling or displaying speciality breads and includes a floor-standing baguette chamber that can be adapted to display large or small baguettes depending on the store’s product profile.
New packaging made from white, recyclable paper, with large clear windows ensures maximum product visibility, whilst the display crates are easy to merchandise.
All packaging carries Country Choice’s ’oven baked in-store’ message to emphasise the freshly baked credentials.
The range includes best-selling lines such as French bread, bloomers, crusty rolls and continental pastries, as well as a selection of new speciality breads, new family fruit pies and traditional buns.
