Cadbury has launched its ‘Win a Weekend in Their Boots’ campaign for another year, offering shoppers the chance to win a variety of football-themed prizes.

Running from January to March, the competition will feature across hundreds of Cadbury packs and include prizes such as VIP match day tickets, travel and luxury hotel stay, pitch side access, a meet and greet with a club legend, plus a stadium tour and loads more.

The off-pack promotion will run across a huge range of tablet, multipack, bag, single and biscuit products including Cadbury Buttons, Cadbury Twirl, Cadbury Wispa, Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo and many more.

The campaign aims to build on the success of last year’s promotion which saw a 159% increase in entries in its second year in 2023, helping more than 350 lucky winners get access to a match of their choice.

The chocolate manufacturer said the timing of the campaign aims to boost retailers’ sales after Christmas.

Brand manager for Cadbury at Mondelēz International Chris Parker said: “The previous promotion has been tremendously successful over the last two years and building on this to launch Win a Weekend in Their Boots in 2024 will help further increase the impact and excitement around our Cadbury FC partnerships.

“The last activation was incredibly successful, driving more entries than ever before and prompting more people to get involved. We fully expect Win a Weekend In Their Boots, with its incredible VIP prize for the top prize winners, to get fans even more excited and drive purchase in store for retailers.”

Cadbury has advised retailers to stock up on the full range of participating Cadbury SKUs to take advantage of this promotion in their store.

To be entered into the prize draw, shoppers must purchase a Cadbury product, enter the barcode and batch code on the Cadbury FC competition site and select their preferred participating club.
