Budgens has added roast-in-the-bag pork to its ready to cook range.
The sage & onion pork loin joint is available in Budgens stores now, making it one of the first symbol groups to stock the new roast-in-the-bag range.
Targeted at busy shoppers, the introduction of The Black Farmer range is part of Budgens’ commitment to improve its meal for tonight offer.
Charlotte Tyne, trading manager for meat, fish & poultry at Budgens, said: “The Black Farmer brand is popular with our customers and we’re delighted to be one of the first convenience stores to offer the roast in the bag range.
“Demand for premium ready to cook products is high because consumers want to achieve that quality homecooked meal feeling with minimum time and effort. This product is 100% British pork and we expect it to be a hit with our customers.”
The bag locks in moisture and the pork only takes 50 minutes to cook.
The rrp is £5, with a launch offer of £4.50.
