Spar is set to launch its first ‘12 Deals of Christmas’ campaign, offering shoppers promotions and money-off deals every week from October.
Offers will run on products including top brands from suppliers such as P&G, PepsiCo, Britvic, AB InBev and KP Snacks, as well as on Christmas essentials and Spar’s own brand products.
Spar expects the deals, which run until Christmas Eve, to generate a £12m sales opportunity.
The campaign will be supported by a raft of marketing activity, including national newspaper adverts, in-store POS, Spar Live radio, local leaflets and digital support.
In addition, a retailer incentive will offer a prize of two pairs of tickets and conference packages for the Spar conference in San Diego. The prizes will go to the two stores which generate the biggest value via the campaign.
