Two of the industry’s brightest young stars are off to America this autumn as winners of the 2008 ACS Achievement Award.
Laura Jupp, assistant brand manager at Spar UK, and Ben Wiseman, a supply chain graduate at Cadbury, won the retailer and supplier competitions respectively after presenting their ideas for innovation in the c-store sector to a panel of experts.
The duo will now represent the UK in the Global Convenience Industry Achievement Award competition, to be staged in Chicago later this year as part of the annual NACS convention, where they will present to an audience of global industry experts, competing against their counterparts from Australia, USA, Canada and New Zealand.
