Co-op Wholesale has announced promotions for two senior staff members.
Ian King has been promoted to business development and growth director while Paul Webster has become partnerships and sales director.
In their new roles, both will join the Co-op Wholesale Operating Board.
King will have a “significantly expanded role where he will oversee the full end-to-end customer journey - including new business, central operations, and store format and delivery”, and will also act as deputy managing director. According to Co-op Wholesale, his “strategic vision and operational expertise make him a perfect fit to help lead us into our next phase of growth”.
Webster joined Co-op Wholesale, then Nisa, in January 2025 as head of partnerships, which was a newly-created role. His remit was to manage the company’s largest corporate accounts and strategic partnerships and in his new role, he will also take on responsibility for the wholesale sales team.
Co-op Wholesale managing director, Katie Secretan said: “These appointments reflect the confidence we have in both Ian and Paul to help drive our ambitious growth plans forward. Their leadership, commercial focus and deep understanding of our partners make them hugely valuable additions to the operating board.”
