South Wales-based retailer Griffiths Forecourts has extended its partnership with Co-op Wholesale for a further five years.
The family-owned business has been serving local communities for generations, operating three Nisa Local stores in Llantwit Fadre, Bridgend and its newest site in Miskin.
Directors Brett and Daniel Griffiths continue the tradition of delivering ”great service, quality products and strong community connections”, said Co-op Wholesale.
The forecourt’s commitment to its communities is reflected in its support for Co-op Wholesale’s Making a Difference Locally charity. The business has raised more than £40,000 for local causes, with recent beneficiaries including Gelli Life for Living (£300) and RCT Performance Swimming Club (£400).
“Our relationship with Co-op Wholesale has been mutually beneficial, and this new five-year deal is a testament to the strength of that partnership,” said Brett and Daniel.
“The Co-op own brand is a huge part of our offer – our customers love the quality and variety, and it helps us deliver the value they expect. We’re proud to be building on our family’s legacy while continuing to evolve our stores for the future.”
Paul Webster, partnerships & sales director at Co-op Wholesale, said: “Griffiths Forecourts is a fantastic example of a family business that’s grown and thrived while staying rooted in its local communities. Their long-standing commitment to quality and service mirrors our own values, and we’re delighted to be working together for another five years to support their continued success.”
